Jon Jackson of Comfort Farms is an experienced public speaker and has a wealth of knowledge to share. He is a combat veteran who can speak on topics such as mental health, resilience, and veteran transition. He can also discuss ways to foster connection and community with veterans, strategies for coping with stress and anxiety, PTSD, and the power of connecting with animals. Additionally, he can provide insights into the positive impact of farming and nature on mental well-being.


LEADERSHIP

As a leader in the elite Special Operations 75th Ranger Regiment, he can provide insights on how to develop resiliency and foster personal growth. He can discuss ways of navigating change, weathering adversity, and empowering others to take charge. Additionally, he can share his personal experiences on how to lead during times of uncertainty, as well as building effective teams for success.


REGENERATIVE FARMING

As a regenerative farmer and agro-culinary interpreter of The African Diaspora. He can provide insights into heirloom seed saving, Indigenous African Agricultural practices as well as practical ways to use traditional food preparation methods such as fermentation, pickling, and canning. He can also discuss the importance of sustainable farming practices and their positive impact on the environment and communities. Additionally, he can share his knowledge of local food systems and how they can be used to preserve culture, heritage, and vitalize local economies.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Jon Jackson is an avid Hunter, Fisherman, Falconer Woodsman, Seed Saver of Indigenous African Food ways and Farm Cook. He loves to break bread with indigenous cultures to learn the lessons of the past for guidance into our future. He’s been featured on Bizarre foods with Celebrity Chef Andrew Zimmerman, Man Fire Food with celebrity chef Roger Mooking, Paramount Pictures Wife Swap, TEDx Emory, NPR, GPB, Civil Eats, The Bitter Southerner, The Comfort Farms Documentary, and recently finished a docuseries for an upcoming show where he went to Zimbabwe, Africa and learned about the importance of passing down Customs, Tradition, and culture to our next generation.
